Colorful Tissue Butterflies

This activity is fun to do for spring time, or to show how colors blend.

Goals:
  • To let children see how colors blend by overlapping different colors of tissue, also giving them a sense of accomplishment as they can do this on their own!

    Top Hat

This project is good for preschoolers through school age. It's popular with all ages and makes a nice parent/child interaction, too.

    Goals:
  • Children love to wear hats! This one looks very special and can be decorated in many different ways.
  • It can also be used as an incentive, reward, or special birthday hat.
  • Make these as a classroom when reading Dr. Seuss and be sure to add the "boinger" on top with a pipe cleaner.
  • This activity is fun for any type of dramatic play or parent/child involvement. It starts with a blank paper hat and with a few special touches it can dry and be worn right away.
