Stand Tall Stilts
"It's a great large motor activity to use outside or inside when the weather is bad and you want a break from the usual ball activities. We use these indoors on a soft carpeted area on days when the weather is bad and the kids can't get their large motor exercise.
I bought four pairs so there is less waiting time for each child to get a turn on them. The kids don't realize by using the stilts, they are building core muscle strength by standing on one foot at a time, working on their balancing, and using their arm muscles to hold the ropes taut. Once the children have used them a few times and are good at it, we have races in the indoor activity room and have done part of the hokey pokey on them. I've also set up obstacle courses with your cones and have the kids walk around the cones in a line. There are unlimited possibilities with the stilts. The stilts are safe and the kids love them."
