Such a Versatile Tray!

I originally purchased this for fingerpainting but have used it daily for playdough and crayoning.My daughter is 20 mo old and it helps her keep things (crayons, playdough cutters, playdough) within reach, and off the carpets/floors.

Should be better or cheaper

I am usually very pleased with products from DSS, but these trays are extremely flimsy. They don't seem durable enough to withstand the beatings they will inevitably get from my two kids. They should either be cheaper, or stronger.

Good size, but thin flimsy plastic tray

The size of the tray was perfect, but the plastic is very thin and flimsy and was already crumpled when it arrived. I don't think it will last very long before it tears and is in the trash. I am trying to find a better one from another company. If you are looking for a finger paint tray that lasts this is more of a disposable item.

The quality is not what I have come to expect for dss. It is a great idea but seems a little flimsy. If the child bends it, it is history.

Costs Too Much

I cannot imagine this lasting very long with more than one child using it. I was very disappointed in the quality of the plastic. It is thin and flimsy. It also had a few creases in the edges. It does the job well, but I don't expect it to last very long. I would not want to pay more than a few dollars for it.

Multi-use super tray!

These trays are a godsend. The minute our children see them, they think: FUN! The trays encourage creativity - in painting of all types, in cookie shaping and cutting out, in kneading/shaping bread dough, in bead-working, in so MANY delightful activities.Just seat the children at a table and set the tray in front of them with the activity ready to begin: this helps keep kids focused on what they're doing - not defending territory or meddling in others'. The raised lip on the tray contains the mess in one easy-to-clean-up area; keep children from "infringing" on each other's space, keep paint/beads/crayons or markers/small toys from scattering about the table; and they're easy to wipe or wash clean in the sink, and then store out of the way in a small space.They are inexpensive and lightweight. I have found it wise to tape the edges - completely around the tray - with duct tape to reinforce them. That way if children lean on them, they don't split. Then, they last almost forever- let the fun begin!
