I was so glad to find this gluten free playdough at such a good price. My two year old daughter is gluten free and kept trying to eat regular playdough.

OK dough
By Marie the OT
from La Mirada, CA
The product comes wrapped only in cellophane, so make sure you have your own containers. The red stains your hands, and luckily I haven't gotten it on my clothes! The consistency is ok... nothing is like real play dough, but my kids have loved using it so far. I am an occupational therapist.

GF dough
By br13
from Undisclosed
Fantastic to work with. Bought this for home use after years of making my own. My son is thrilled to have "real" play dough - the home stuff was always too sticky. Love it and wish I would have purchased years ago!

Awesome gluten free dough!
By athman97
from Houston, TX
This is the best gluten free playdough! I used to make my own but found it always dried out quickly and was so hard to get the perfect consistency. I couldn't believe how much dough came in this one package! I was able to send half of each color to my son's school and keep the rest for play at home. I am just estatic to find such great play dough at such a great price!

Good for school
By GFMom
from Hebron, CT
I usually make my own Gluten Free play dough. But for school, I need to buy something that doesn't need to stay refrigerated. This bucket has a bunch of great colors and is not too expensive. The consistency is a little greasy and not exactly like the home made version, but the kids don't seem to mind. Each year, I buy a bucket for my son's new classroom. The teachers appreciate it. Just make sure to ask them to wash all the play dough tools before using them with the GF dough!

You'd never know it was GF!
By Staplelar

Works the same as regular dough. Does feel a tiny bit greasier than regular but doesn't affect playability. Has a distinct smell just like regular doughs. So glad I'm finally able to bring back a preschool favorite. With 4 kids under 5 this is a necessary quiet time item!

great for gluten free
By Tolly
from North Carolina
Works great. Very soft and moldable. Works with Play-Doh accessories. I only wish it were packaged individually instead of as a group. I probably wouldn't have bought black and brown. I would have chosen pink or purple or some other bright color. We liked it enough that we bought it for home and school.

No allergies!
By Glori007

My son is extremely allergic, specially to wheat. I needed a safe alternative for him. So, I bought this for his pre-school and for home. He loves this dough and he even ate a chunk of it and nothing happened! I was really afraid when I saw him eat the dough, but it was all safe.

perfect for Celiacs

8 Bright colors. Comes in storage tub however, wish there were individual containers available for each color instead of just wrapped. Wonderful for my preschool. Perfect for those who need to remain wheat and gluten free.

Very good product
By 3NsMom

This play dough is great. It's very soft and easy to work with. There are lots of colors and the smell isn't unpleasant. The only downside is that it leaves a slightly greasy film on hands, but it washes off easily. If you don't use it for a very long time it will dry out. Keep the logs in zip bags, and then inside the tub.

Gluten free playdough
By maizie
This playdough comes in nice bright colors and works well. It dries out faster then traditional playdough so keep it in tightly sealed containers. Carrying case is nice. I sent a bucket to preschool since my daughter recently got diagnosised with Celiac disease.

Great to have a product ...

Great to have a product like this available! Very bright colors.

You get a large quantity of each color and the colors are vibrant and true to traditional playdough. The scented dough smells like soap and is a bit strong. It is not as soft as traditional playdough. My son has Celiac so I feel more comfortable with him playing with the gluten-free playdough but, it is extremely expensive. In the future, if the price is the same, I will make my own because it will cut the cost dramatically.

Love this stuff!!!
By Mom2GlutenFreeKid

I love this stuff! My son is old enough to know better than to eat Play-Doh, but he still loves to do it. He has Celiac Disease, so no gluten for him. Play-Doh has gluten in it. So, I decided he would have to live a life without Play-Doh. But I wasn't happy with that, so I went in search of a gluten free dough. Discount School Supply had it!!! I ordered 2 tubs immediately - one for preschool & one for Sunday School. Now my son & all of his friends can play with "Play-Doh" together & I don't have to worry about him ingesting gluten! He still likes to eat it, but at least I don't have to worry about the repercussions like I did with the other stuff! The only con I have is that it dries out quicker than other Play-Dohs. It is a bit more expensive, but everything that is gluten free is more expensive, so that was to be expected. I will definitely continue to purchase this for my son.
Good Product
By deb18

I bought this item for my daughter who has celiac disease and cannot play with regular play doh because it has wheat in it. The consistency of the product is not quite like play doh but it was workable enough to recommend this product for those with allergies who cannot use the real thing. Also, great color in this selection!

Liked it bettter than homemade
By Hopemom

I liked the product as it's better than home made one.Found price to be high, hope they would sellin small size at less price too.But the product is good, little powdery than regular play dough but for a Gluten Free Dough I think it's great.
Excellent Replacement for Playdough
By BeckyG
from Nashville, TN
I purchased this playdough for my son, who is on a gluten/casein/soy free diet and is very oral. The texture is exactly like traditional playdough and the colors they came in were very vibrant. I was plesently suprised, since most gluten free substitutes are usually not as good.

Well worth the money.
By 4kidsand1bird

I was a little leary of spending over $20 for play dough, but this was well worth it. It's nice to be able to let my son play with something he really enojys and not have to worry about the gluten issues. There was plenty of dough to keep some at home and take the rest to his class.

This gluten free play ...
By dede
This gluten free play dough works well, has nice colors, but is highly scented. It makes me wonder what it is made of. The scent keeps the kids from putting it in their mouths, which I assume to be the purpose of artificial fragrance, but it makes me wonder why that is necessary. I usually avoid artificial fragrance in everything, so I will look harder for an alternative next time.
Not the right texture
By MotherofCeliacChild
My daughter (3 years old) has celiac disease & I wanted a gluten free dough she could safely play with at home. She likes this dough, but becomes frustrated because it has a different texture from standard playdoh. It is softer and more slimy. The dough does not work very well in her playdoh presses and with her playdoh tools.

Safe Dough but Strong Fragrance
By MomRN

Bought this a few months back and thought it was great except for the strong fragrance. I agree with the other parent that a fragrance-free dough would be so much better :)

Only Gluten-Free Dough I Know

This dough is soft and it lasts. The colors are vibrant and it is fun to use. I buy it for my sons school and send it in - they all like the texture and how easy it is to use.

This product is not unscented
By mellr
This is a great product unless you must have fragrance free items for your little one. The dough is rather strongly baby powder scented. An unscented version of this dough would be lovely.
Great option for kids with wheat allergies
By Mother

It is great. My 3 year old loves it. I buy it for school so everyone in the class could use this product and keep my child safe. Price ? Could be lower, but there are no other options out there.
