Great Find

Comments about The Sand Studio:
I brought this on sale and the children have used this so many times I needed more sand. Hours of play and so many extra's that make it even more fun.

Fun! Great price!

Thinking of buying another one as it works best for only 1 child to maintain the cleanliness/extendability of the sand.

sand studio

I had to have this product replaced as soon as it arrived. I ordered two and the lids would not slide on and off. They sent me two new studios and the handles were broken on the one and a tool was missing in the other studio. This product is poorly made.

Beautiful, but poorly made
By Badgerbabies

My mixed-age group loves anything that is in the sensory table, so I thought this would be a great activity for individual exploration at the table. The children are drawn to the sand and love to use all of the different tools. However, the box itself was poorly constructed. I purchased four studios and 3 of them have plexiglass bottoms that don't fit into the grooves on the bottom. The slits allow sand to poor from the bottom all over the floor and table. The ultra fine sand is everywhere! With a little better design, this product could be fantastic.

Beautiful, zen-like addition to the classroom

This sand studio is very appealing, both visually and tactilely (if that is really a word). A great addition to the classroom, especially one with children who are tactilely defensive. I had a hard time getting it away from my husband.

Nice addition to the classroom

Our preschool and kindergarten children enjoy using the individual sand tray and tools. This is a nice addition to the sensorial area. The natural wood is very attractive and fits right into the Montessori environment.
