perfect little sturdy boxes for many projects. Like to use them with Girl Scout groups, museum tour groups, adults and in hospitals.just the right size to keep a few little treasures.

I am a 4-H volunteer. We used these as painting projects for our Cloverbuds. They painted them--put on jewels--lined with materiai--used glitter glue. This is the second time I have ordered this item and have not had the trouble that other people were having.

cute, but poorly crafted

These boxes are a great size for a craft project or gift, I loved them when I found them on the site. When they arrived they were packaged nicely - so I don't think that the damage to the boxes was caused during shipping. Many of the boxes have dings in the wood, some of them the screws on the hinges were done crooked, or not completed - had to take them out and redo them myself. also, parts of the wood were thinner in places, like it had been made out of scrap wood. They are very rough, in order to paint them successfully I had to sand them and treat them with a wood prep for painting. A few of the lids close great, but mostly they are uneven and don't close all the way.I hate to complain about a product because the service I got from the site itself was excellent and I will definitely shop here in the future. I just wasn't impressed with this particular product.
