I was disappointed with the quality of this product. I didn't even bother putting more than one together because I could tell that these cardboard blocks would not withstand the play of a child. The directions to assemble them were not very clear either.

Refreshing to see toddler grandson enjoying materials and learning at the same time. Wonderful support as manipulative. Allows child to work with shapes, colors, size, texture in a fun way. Allows child to be creative as he manipulates the blocks. Fun to watch the creative juices flowing.

Over the years I've purchased "Block Busters" several times. They seem to get less sturdy each time I buy a new set. It always takes some time to put them together and I was prepared.
I used clear packing tape at several points in the process of constructing the blocks. At least these start out with one piece; the last ones I constructed had several different pieces. So far, they are staying together and the 2 year olds are enjoying them. They are easy to wipe off. They do not contain the usual larger rectangles but lots of smaller sizes. I'd prefer the larger rectangles but the children don't care. I don't think they needed to have the "Discount Toys" logo on each block.

These blocks are sturdy and not to hard to put together. I just wish there had been a few that was twice as large as the long red ones, and not so many of the small yellow ones.

These blocks are not as thick as some I purchased nearly 7 years ago, however, they are fine. The quality is still good. There aren't as many big blocks, though. This selection of blocks has many smaller ones, not a bunch of large ones.

I guess I didn't realize when I ordered, that these are NOT wooden blocks! I was frustrated when they arrived, as the cardboard construction surely won't withstand the 6 kids I have under my care... at least it has enough pieces that I was able to put out only half of them for the time being, and once those get ruined, I can switch them out with the rest.

Our home daycare children love using these blocks. Especially for indoor play, the blocks give the children a chance to use their imagination and creativity in building whatever they wish. They love making towers and castles--this activity allows for free play and transitioning into other activities.
