What Does It Teach?
The obvious element presented in this kit is color mixing but there are others along the way. Three primary colors lead to six secondary. These six are then manipulated to become as many as twenty-four. There’s an emphasis on being safe in the lab and always keeping track of what’s happening. The experience relies on handling lab equipment correctly and making careful measurements and observations in each activity. It’s filled with “What do you think?” questions that allow for individual thought and tests. This kit demonstrates that simple tools can lead to colorful, eye-opening results.
