Phase 2 of New Jersey's Child Care Facilities Improvement Program is a $5 million NJEDA pilot that provides grants of $10,000 to $20,000 to registered Family Child Care homes (FCCs) to purchase furniture, fixtures and equipment (FFE). What is NJEDA Phase 2?
Phase 2 of the Child Care Facilities Improvement Program is a $5 million NJEDA pilot providing grants of up to $20,000 to registered Family Child Care homes to purchase furniture, fixtures and equipment that improve health, safety, accessibility and quality.
Who is eligible for Phase 2?
Eligibility is limited to registered Family Child Care homes that have enrolled at least one child receiving support from the NJ Department of Human Services Child Care Assistance Program. Non-FCC child care centers are not eligible.
How much can a Phase 2 grant be?
NJEDA approved Phase 2 grants between $10,000 and $20,000 per registered Family Child Care home.
