Clean gently: Wipe with a soft cloth and mild soap and water. Remove soap residue and wipe dry.
Cover when not in use: Use a weather-resistant furniture cover to help protect against rain, dirt, and prolonged sun exposure. Place furniture in a shaded area when possible to reduce exposure to extreme heat and UV rays, which can fade and wear the finish. Allow furniture to dry before covering.
Store seasonally: During extended periods of wet or freezing weather, store furniture in a cool, dry, sheltered location.
Oil and maintain the wood: Periodically apply an oil formulated for outdoor wood furniture, such as an exterior-use tung oil or linseed oil blend, to help prevent drying and maintain the wood’s appearance. Choose a product compatible with the existing finish and follow all application and curing instructions before returning the furniture to use.
