Caring for Your Outdoor Wood Furniture
Keep your outdoor wood furniture looking its best with regular cleaning and protection from the elements.
Regular care helps preserve the wood’s appearance and extend the life of your furniture
- MATERIAL: Made of eucalyptus wood, a popular choice over traditional wood furniture due to its durability, affordability and high sustainability. Care for material included with product.
- DIMENSIONS: Table measures 47-2/5" L x 39" W x 28-2/5" H; umbrella is 75" H with 10" Sq. base. Assembly required. Comes with assembly instructions and tools needed. Umbrella is to be used only with the picnic table.
- APPLICATION: Ideal for outdoor learning and play. Perfect for a school or homeschool setting. Umbrella offers UV protection. Great usage for a variety of festive gatherings like birthday or neighborhood picnics.
- OUTDOOR SOCIALIZE: An incentive to get your children outside and playing with each other. Fun place for children to eat lunch, work on crafts together, play board games, and more.
- DISPLAY: Unlike other children's picnic tables, ours is made of eucalyptus wood and not plastic. Looks great in your front or backyard and finely sanded down for easy sitting. Made to look like an adult picnic table but for kids!
Caring for Your Outdoor Wood Furniture
Keep your outdoor wood furniture looking its best with regular cleaning and protection from the elements.
- Clean gently: Wipe with a soft cloth and mild soap and water. Remove soap residue and wipe dry.
- Cover when not in use: Use a weather-resistant furniture cover to help protect against rain, dirt, and prolonged sun exposure. Place furniture in a shaded area when possible to reduce exposure to extreme heat and UV rays, which can fade and wear the finish. Allow furniture to dry before covering.
- Store seasonally: During extended periods of wet or freezing weather, store furniture in a cool, dry, sheltered location.
- Oil and maintain the wood: Periodically apply an oil formulated for outdoor wood furniture, such as an exterior-use tung oil or linseed oil blend, to help prevent drying and maintain the wood’s appearance. Choose a product compatible with the existing finish and follow all application and curing instructions before returning the furniture to use.
