DSS Express Terms
These terms and conditions (“Terms”) are between you and Discount School Supply and/or its affiliates (“DSS”) and govern our respective rights and obligations.Membership Cancellation
One of your business account administrators may cancel your DSS Express membership any time by contacting DSS customer service. We will refund your full membership fee only if you and your account did not make any eligible purchases or take advantage of DSS Express benefits since your latest membership charge. However, DSS Express memberships redeemed through a gift code or promotional code are not refundable.Shipping Benefits
DSS Express provides access to shipping benefits for all business users who are associated with your DSS account at the location which purchased DSS Express. These shipping benefits depend upon inventory availability and order deadlines. In addition, these benefits may be limited to certain products sold by DiscountSchoolSupply.com (or third-party sellers participating in DSS Express) on the DiscountSchoolSupply.com website. If only some items in your order are eligible for DSS Express benefits, you will pay applicable shipping charges for the ineligible items. Changing or combining orders, or changing your shipping address, speed, or preferences might affect DSS Express eligibility. Certain purchases may only be entitled to free Standard Shipping because of their size, weight, destination, and other shipping characteristics. We may exclude products with special shipping characteristics at our discretion.Ineligible Items and Destinations for DSS Express
- Recurring subscription products and services
- Gift cards
- Destination addresses outside of the 48 Contiguous USA states
- Purchases for New Center Openings and Bids
- Expedited shipping and/or delivery
- Special delivery services such as inside delivery, product assembly, etc.
Important Limitations
- You may only use DSS Express for business, and not personal, use.
- We reserve the right to accept or refuse participation in DSS Express in our discretion.
- We may send you email and other communications related to DSS Express (regardless of any settings or preferences related to your Discount School Supply account).
- You may not transfer or assign your DSS Express benefits, including promotion codes for DSS Express benefits, except as allowed in these Terms.
- DSS Express shipping benefits are intended for a Discount School Supply business customer to ship products to itself or to locations for its own use. Discount School Supply business customers are not permitted to use DSS Express shipping benefits to purchase products for the purpose of resale, rental, or to ship products to their customers or other parties.
- The eligibility of your orders for DSS Express shipping benefits may depend on the size of your order, total order value, product quantity purchased, or the location of your shipping address. Some benefits may require members to meet specified criteria in order to access them.
- From time to time, Discount School Supply may choose in its sole discretion to add, change or remove DSS Express benefits or to change the fee charged for these benefits. You acknowledge that DSS Express does not include any benefits other than those listed above in the "Benefits" section that we make available to you.
Fees and Renewal
The membership fee for DSS Express is stated on the DSS Express landing page on discountschoolsupply.com. The DSS Express membership fee is non-refundable except as expressly set forth in these Terms. Taxes may apply on either or both of the membership fee and the reduced shipping charges for DSS Express.For DSS Express renewals, unless an administrator on your business account changes the default payment method, Discount School Supply will first charge the original payment method you used to purchase DSS Express, which may be an individual payment method. If all eligible payment methods we have on file for you are declined for payment of your membership fee, you must provide us a new eligible payment method promptly or your membership will be canceled. If you provide us with a new eligible payment method and are successfully charged, your new membership period will be based on the original renewal date and not the date of the successful charge. UNLESS YOU NOTIFY US BEFORE A CHARGE THAT YOU WANT TO CANCEL OR DO NOT WANT TO AUTO RENEW, YOU UNDERSTAND YOUR DSS EXPRESS MEMBERSHIP WILL AUTOMATICALLY CONTINUE AND YOU AUTHORIZE US (WITHOUT NOTICE TO YOU, UNLESS REQUIRED BY APPLICABLE LAW) TO COLLECT THE THEN-APPLICABLE MEMBERSHIP FEE AND ANY TAXES, USING ANY ELIGIBLE PAYMENT METHOD WE HAVE ON RECORD FOR YOU OR ANY ADMINISTRATOR.
