WARNING: CHOKING HAZARD – Small parts. Not for children under 3 years.
Players work cooperatively against a common obstacle to win in these engaging games.
Count Your Chickens!®:
All players work together to help Mother Hen collect her chicks and bring them back to the coop. The object of the game is to get all 40 baby chicks back inside the coop before Mother Hen gets to the last space on the board. But watch out for the fox! Players take turns, but work together.
Stone Soup®:
From the classic tale of cooperation comes this simple game where players work together to "cook" a soup by making matches of ingredients. Match all of the ingredients before the fire under the kettle goes out and everyone wins! Players decide together when to use the magic stone card to help keep the soup cooking.
Race To the Treasure™!
The race is on! Can you beat the Ogre to the treasure?
Hoot Owl Hoot!™:
The object of the game is to move all the owls from start to the nest before the sun rises. If an owl "flies" over an owl on a space of a certain color on its way to the next open space, all players make a hooting sound! The game can be made more challenging by adding up to 6 owl tokens. Because Hoot Owl Hoot!™ is a cooperative game players play any of the owls – no one player has a single owl that is trying to get back to the nest.
A cooperative game is a game where all players play together against a common obstacle, not against each other. In a cooperative game, no one feels left out and everyone has fun! These cooperative board games from Peaceable Kingdom® use familiar game mechanisms, such as spinning a spinner, matching cards, moving a token and strategizing a win – together! Playing together helps kids in many ways; they experience shared decision-making, they build self-esteem, they learn to share, learn to feel compassion and learn to work as a team.
- Children make decisions together, build self-esteem, learn to share, feel compassion and work as a team
- No reading skills required
- Set of 4 includes Count Your Chickens!®, Stone Soup® and Hoot Owl Hoot™
