The set has enough tiles so that children can play individually or they can work together. We have not put them on the light table yet because we want the children to learn how to create things with the tiles first. Well worth the money!

My son's preschool had these, and now that he's finished, we've invested in a set. He played with them daily for 2 years, and his projects started as simple structures and evolved into very sophisticated projects. Space ships, stars, stain glass windows, giant buildings with parking structures, and so on. And it moved into play with other toys (e.g., parking structures need cars, buildings need people, and stained glass windows that are so beautiful get drawn painted on paper). They taught and inspired him. As I understand it, some young kids (3 and under) might get their fingers pinched when two pieces clap together, so it's worth some caution with younger children.
