This unique and fun activity gives children the basic understanding of what a path in computer programming is, without the intimidation of using a computer. This activity is differentiated with a variety of levels, so children never get bored. This activity is great for home or school use as children can use it on their own or with a small group of children.
WHAT YOU GET: 2 magnetic activity boards measuring 10’’ x 10’’, 2 magnetic path boards measuring 12’’ x 3’’, 60 playing cards measuring 3’’ x 4’’, and 82 magnetic tiles measuring 1’’ x 1’’, and an instruction card. All components come packaged in a sturdy, colorful box.
DIFFERENTIATED: The activity comes a double-sided magnetic activity board with different levels on each side. It also comes with 60 playing cards, some basic and some challenging that are color-coded to match the appropriate side of the activity board.
ENDLESS ACTIVITIES: There are 60 playing cards that show you how to set up your board by placing “bugs” in specific spots on the board. Each card is unique giving children a unique experience every time they play. The cards are not only different because of the placement of the “bugs”, but also vary in the number of bugs presented on each card.
SINGLE OR MULTI-PERSON USE: This activity can be completed by a single player, or players can work collaboratively in pairs or small groups, making this activity perfect for home or school use!
