The Actual product from DSS is great, came on time and the packaging is fine but... Im not happy with the company who supplies the butterfly larve. I have been waiting 2 weeks to get it and we are past our butterfly unit now.

You have to send for caterpillars so it is too late in the season and by the way that caterpillars eat soybeans so they are considered PESTS.

The instructions indicate there to be a "log" to place the chrysalis on and watch it. Neither box I ordered has one.

We did this at home while quarantined due to COVID- my kids are 2&3 - it was a bit too old for them to really understand the science aspect but they really enjoyed seeing the butterflies after they came out of the chrysalis! 4 out of the 5 caterpillars turned into butterflies !
