Colorations Foam Paint Marbling Activity
An Activity for Preschoolers:
Colorations® No-Drip Foam Paint is a fun, sensory, and fail-safe way for little ones to create beautiful art!

Before You Begin:
Gather Colorations® Foam Paint, art trays, paint brushes, paint scrapers, and paper.

Activity Goals:
Explore color mixing
Explore cause and effect
Develop fine motor skills.

Furthermore:
After painting is dry, it can be fun to use it as a background to create a collage of multi-textured materials such as glitter, sequins, pom-poms, or wood and foam shapes!

Spray several colors of Colorations® No-Drip Foam Paint onto a tray. There is no need to be precise.
Take the end of a paint brush or a paint scraper and swirl through the colors of paint.
Lay paper atop the foam paint, ensuring that the paper is covered with foam.
Lift paper up and off of foam and lay on a flat surface.
Take a paper towel and wipe the excess foam paint from the paper.
Watercolors will blend where they touch, but will resist the crayon art creating a beautiful effect!
