Dot-A-Dot Harvest Corn
An Activity for School-age:
Celebrate the harvest with this delightful project!


Before You Begin:
Pop some real corn for the children to eat while they create their harvest corn. Lead a discussion about the fall harvest.


Activity Goals:
Practice motor skills
Explore the fall harvest
Discover specific foods eaten in the fall


Furthermore:
Have the children make a fall collage on butcher paper using cutout photos from various magazines that refer to fall.







Cut white construction paper into corn shapes.
Cut brown, yellow and green construction paper into corn hush shapes.
Dab with yellow, orange and red Do-A-Dot!™ markers to make kernels.
Glue the husk shapes together.
Glue the two husk shapes onto the bottom of the corn.
